Evian Royal

La station : Located on the Southern shore of Lake Leman, leaning on the Alps, Evian-les-Bains is a world-class tourist resort. It is a highly preferred destination for spa vacation not for thalassotherapy (which requires the use of seawater, whereas Evian is situated on a mountain), due to its ideal location between lake and mountains.


From the springs of Evian flows a mineral water with multiple healing properties. One of the most interesting asset of Evian is its Casino open every day, with its table games, slot machines, a number of bars and restaurants of all types, and even a theater. Restaurant "Le Café Royal"

With talent and experience, the passionate chef Michel Lentz is at the stove! The cuisine is a combination of Chablais's local riches (red trout, perch, whitefish, Abondance beef, cheese...) with the area's herbs and flowers, adding a touch of other flavors for your delight.

This cuisine, a combination of tradition and passion, has a real dimension in the art of eating well. Strict attention to high quality natural products and good command of brief cooking enable to keep the intrinsic properties of food, herbs or spices.

Inaugurated in June 2005, this restaurant proposes a traditional French cuisine with Mediterranean flavors.

Sports et loisirs : In the middle of a park measuring 19 ha, the Country Club of Evian Royal Resort provides a number of sport facilities for tennis, climbing, archery, carbine shooting, squash... All you have to do is booking them. The equipment is lent to you.

GOLF :
Evian Masters Golf Club is located in a 60 ha forested park. It offers a high quality golf course with Lake Leman and the alpine summits as backgrounds. Its 18-hole par 72 golf course measures 6,054 m and has a striking feature, well-kept greens, tight fairways, water hazards, lush roughs for varied strokes, and velvety greens throughout the year.

On July 31st 2006, Royal Evian Resort opened a new complex fully dedicated to golf training: Evian Masters Training Camp which has the design of a championship golf course where is held the world-famous Evian Masters, one of the biggest tournaments in women's golf.

Downhill ski, snowboard, snowshoe, dog sleds, sledge, heliski. The nearest ski resort is Bernex at 12 km from Evian. There is a bigger ski resort, Chatel, at 38 km from the spa hotel.

Castles, museums, amusement parks, or wandering around in the typical villages in the surroundings of Lake Leman and in the alpine valleys.

Visit Geneva, a cosmopolite and lively town, the headquarters of many international institutions, the capital of luxury clock-making, with its numerous museums and expositions. There is also Lausanne, the Olympic capital.


FOR CHILDREN:
A special program of recreational activities for children aged 2 to 11 at the Royal Kids Club, and 12 to 16 at the Fun Club. Since 2007, Evian Royal Kid's Resort receive 3 to 24 month-old babies and toddlers every day and throughout the year. Nursing professionals will look after them in a particularly adapted environment.
